About Maleene

Maleene de Ridder (MSc) is a graduate of the Amsterdam Free University. She has a Masters in Health Sciences with a minor in Organizational Sciences and is a certified coach. In her work she has focused, for over 20 years, on 'the human factor' in organizations. She started her career as consultant with the emphasis on the physical aspects of work and work-related disorders. Over the years she has shifted her focus to mental and organizational aspects of work.

Throughout her career Maleene has seen the effects of work-related disorders and 'illness-inducing' working environments and contexts. Simultaneously she has also experienced what drives people in their work. She has seen first-hand that great results at work and great work experiences go hand in hand and that this produces engaged, committed, motivated, energetic and innovative people who want to make a difference. Her mission is to connect people and organizations with themselves and each other. This connection lays the foundation for (personal) leadership by which people can give their very best. Creating and making connections is not an easy, nor is it a self-propelling process. It requires courage, self-understanding and an open mind to change. Maleene strongly beliefs that people aiming to utilize their full potential and that of others, are instrumental in achieving sustainable growth. The benefits are more than 'just' growth: it unleashes momentum by which people and organizations can truly make a difference.
